“Oh, piccolo soldato, che gettandoti felicemente verso la guerra, non presti attenzione al petalo rosso che hai portato, che segna coloro che cadranno. Tale petalo è il segno della morte gialla di senape che ti soffocherà nelle trincee pestifere e fangose”.
Il film è realizzato a disegni animati tradizionali, con la colonna sonora di Eduardo Raon.

“Oh, little soldier, jaunting happily towards the war, you pay no heed to the red petal you carry, marking the ones who’ll fall. Such petal is the sign of the mustard yellow death that will smother you in the pestiferous, muddy trenches”. The animation is made by traditional drawings, accompanied with the sountrack of the Portoguese musician Eduardo Raon.
