On Earth joy is just passable. When it comes to permanent happiness, I doubt that anybody knows what it is. The Island is a place of colours, sounds, horizon, smells. A person merges with the island, the island grows inside them and that is how the island gives birth to fulfilment.

Nella terra ormai la gioia è appena passabile. Quando però parliamo di felicità perenne, dubito che qualcuno possa sapere cosa significhi. L’isola è un posto fatto di colori, suoni e odori. Una persona si fonde con l’isola che più che un luogo fisico è uno stato d’animo.
