In una stanza d’ospedale, la Figlia ricorda un momento dell’infanzia in cui da bambina aveva cercato di condividere con il Padre il suo incontro con un uccellino ferito. Daria Kashcheeva studia film d’animazione al FAMU di Praga. I suoi film realizzati durante gli studi hanno partecipato a numerosi festival internazionali.

In a hospital room, the Daughter recalls a childhood moment when as a little girl she tried to share her experience with an injured bird with her Father. Her student films featured at many international festivals. Daria’s original To Accept won the Nespresso Talents 2017 film competition in Cannes. In una città fantastica, accadono molte cose misteriose contemporaneamente. Un film collaborativo prodotto per il cinquantesimo anniversario dell’Associazione dei cineasti svizzeri di animazione. “Die Wimmelgruppe” è un collettivo composto da: Georges Schwizgebel, Jonathan Laskar, Delia Hess, Charlotte Waltert, Camille Müller, Elena Madrid, Gabriel Möhring, Sophie Laskar-Haller, Anja Sidler, Vladislav Lukyantsev.

In a fantastic town, many mysterious things happen at once. A collaborative film produced for the 50 years jubilee of the Association of Swiss Animation Filmmakers. “Die Wimmelgruppe” is a collective film.

Mentre fuori il mondo affonda pacificamente sott’acqua, dentro casa infuria un’apocalisse domestica. Malte Stein, nato nel 1981, dal 2007 al 2013 studia animazione presso l’Università del cinema e della televisione “Konrad Wolf” di Potsdam-Babelsberg, in Germania.

Torta alla vaniglia … Una lunatica rappresentazione del momento in cui smettiamo di amare gli altri e ci innamoriamo delle nostre fantasie. Jelena Oroz (1987) si è laureata in Belle Arti presso l’Accademia delle Arti di Osijek. Nel 2014, ha conseguito una laurea magistrale in Film d’animazione e New Media presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Zagabria.

Vanilla cake… A moody portrayal of the moment we stop loving others and fall in love with our fantasies. elena Oroz (1987) graduated with a BA in Fine Arts Education from the Academy of Arts in Osijek. In 2014, she obtained an MA degree in Animated Film and New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She works as an animator. Jelena’s graduation film Wolf Games screened at numerous festivals, including Annecy and Animafest Zagreb.

Guardando un’immagine a raggi X, un giovane uomo inorridisce nell’apprendere che lo strano nodulo nel suo petto, simile a un tumore, è la cima di una minuscola testa di uomo grassoccio. Annidato nel suo corpo, sta aspettando di nascere. Luca Tóth è un regista di animazione ungherese, nato nel 1989. Ha studiato animazione all’Università di arte e design di Moholy-Nagy a Budapest. Dopo aver conseguito il diploma di laurea, ha  studiato al Royal College of Art.

Love appears out of thin air like a tumor in the chest. ’Mr. Mare’ is a surreal animated chamber play, set in a ‘haunted’ claustrophobic space, in which we witness the dynamics of unrequited love as we follow the relationship of an oddly codependent pair. Luca Tóth is a Hungarian animation director, born in 1989, Budapest. She studied animation at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest.

Un corto animato che esplora le dinamiche di gruppo. Come ci definiamo quando siamo tutti uguali? Michael Frei, nato in Svizzera nel 1987, è un regista e artista con sede a Zurigo. Ha studiato animazione all’università di scienze applicate e di arti di Lucerna e all’Accademia estone di arte a Tallinn. I suoi film Not About Us e Plug & Play hanno ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti in tutto il mondo.

An animated short exploring group dynamics. How do we define ourselves when we are all equal? Born in Switzerland in 1987, he is a filmmaker and artist based in Zürich. He studied animation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and at the Estonian Academy of Art in Tallinn. His Films «Not About Us» and «Plug & Play» received numerous awards all over the world.

Questa storia parla di una madre e di un figlio. Ma anche di amore e del destino. Kostantin Bronzit, nato nel 1965 a San Pietroburgo, nel 1994 si è laureato al corso per sceneggiatori e registi di Mosca (classe di Fjodor Khitruk). I suoi film hanno vinto circa 200 premi in diversi festival cinematografici, tra cui nomination per il premio “Cesar” (Alla fine della terra – 2001) e due nomination agli Oscar nel 2009 (Lavatory-Lovestory) e nel 2016 (We Can’t Live Without Cosmo). Membro della French Film Academy e della Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

This story is about mother and son. It is also about love and human destiny. Born 12 of April 1965 in St.-Petersburg, in 1994 he graduated from High Courses of scriptwriters and directors in Moscow (class by Fjodor Khitruk).
